Prairie Lakes Healthcare System has been a dynamic model for rural health, achieving consistently high scores from accrediting organizations at state and national levels. We've served as a "show site" for patient care technology and diagnostic equipment, and we're unchallenged in our uncompromising care for patients and their families.
Healthcare is constantly changing, and we believe not only in keeping up with those changes, but also keeping ahead of them. That's one of the reasons we offer a wide variety of healthcare services with the most advanced equipment possible. It's why we seek out the most skilled physicians and compassionate staff. It's because our commitment to quality healthcare is our first priority. It's what our patients deserve.

Our Logo Wheat has been incorporated into the Prairie Lakes Healthcare System logo as a representation of the "staff of life." The stalk of wheat symbolizes not only our commitment to improving the health and quality of life of our patients, it also recognizes the culture and heritage of our region.
The wheat stalk is boldly designed to represent our dedication to technology and the advancing science of medicine.
The kernels of wheat reach up in a pattern of growth, just as Prairie Lakes Healthcare System grows by adding new services to benefit our patients.
The seven kernels represent our seven-county service area, as well as the seven strategic initiatives which guide Prairie Lakes Healthcare System.
The logo's blue color reflects the glacial lakes region we serve.
