Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is currently looking for a pulmonologist to join the active medical staff in Watertown, SD.  This is an exciting opportunity to grow a program with in our service area of over 90,000.  With this opportunity you will be working with a superior medical staff of over 60 physicians and a dedicated team of specialists to include three interventional cardiologists, medical and radiation oncologists, one urologist, and one nephrologist. 

This physician has a variety of practice options. He/ She has the ability to become an employee of Prairie Lakes Healthcare System or be an independent practitioner. The compensation package is very flexible and will be tailored to suit the physician and his/ her family needs. Otolaryngologist
Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is curerently looking to add an otolaryngologist to the active medical staff in Watertown, South Dakota.

This physician could be located in a clinic at Prairie Lakes Hospital or be a partner with an established ENT. He/She could be an independent physician, supported by a healthy income guarantee for the first year or be employed by Prairie Lakes Healthcare System. Call would be 1:2.

The hospital is an 81-bed independent, not-for-profit hospital and is the only hospital in the community. The OR has five spacious operating rooms with the ability to work with two MDAs and five CRNAs for surgery. Prairie Lakes also owns and operates an off-campus Same Day Surgery Center. There are approximately 60 physicians on the active medical staff.

The compensation package is very flexible and can be tailored to the individual physician needs. 

Urologist 
Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is currently looking for an additional urologist to join the active medical staff in Watertown, SD.  This is a great opportunity to work with a 20+ year board certified, experienced urologist.

Emergency Medicine
Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is looking to add a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine trained physician to our active medical staff in Watertown, SD.  The Emergency Department is staffed with physicians that work a combination of 12 or 24 hour shifts.  Our annual ED volume is 11,000 and serves over 90,000 people.  Prairie Lakes meets criteria for Trauma Level IV certification.  There is a helicopter pad on site with a tertiary care facility less than one hour away.  You will enjoy working with an excellent nursing staff, and a superior medical staff including three Cardiologists, four General Surgeons, and two Anesthesiologists.
