Tree of Angels Campaign
Thanks to the generous giving of many donors, the Tree of Angels2012 campaign at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System was a success. The annual event is sponsored by the Prairie Lakes Healthcare Foundation during the Chirstmas season. It is an opportunity for members of the public to recognize special friends and loved ones. For each gift given through the Tree of Angels campaign, a name is personalized on a beautiful angel tree ornament. This ornament is displayed throughout the Christmas season on the Tree of Angels in the lobby of Prairie Lakes Hospital. Supporters of this campaign memorialized or honored nearly 80 loved ones by donating money for an angel ornament. Dollars raised by this campaign werer directed to the General Fund of Prairie Lakes Healthcare Foundation (give Tomorrows), Prairie Lakes Hospice (give Comfort), Prairie Lakes Cancer Center (give Hope), the Suzanne Jacobson Memorial Fund (give Help), the Prairie Lakes Caring Club House (give Shelter) and cardiology services (give Spirit). Approximately $3,900 was raised through this campaign and the dollars dispersed as directed by the donor. Please join the Foundation in its efforts to help more patients, expand facilities, acquire cutting-edge equipment and attract top medical professionals. One hundred percent of your contribution remains in our region to benefit you, your family, friends and neighbors by maintaining Prairie Lakes Healthcare System's independence as a regional medical center.
