LEARN OVER LUNCH WITH PRAIRIE LAKES DOCTORS POSTED: APR 16, 2012 Prairie Lakes Healthcare System specialists, Dr. Tina Melanson and Dr. Bipin Amin, will offer free community presentations on health topics that impact many people’s day-to-day lives. On Wednesday, April 25 at noon nephrologist, Dr. Melanson, will host a kidney disease question and answer session. One in two people has serious risk factors for developing chronic kidney disease. Audience members will learn what these risk factors are and have their questions answered during this interactive presentation. On Tuesday, May 1 at noon medical oncologist and hematologist, Dr. Amin, will present "Breast Cancer - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.” One in eight U.S. women will develop breast cancer. Dr. Amin will share information all women should know about breast cancer and answer questions that many have always wanted to ask. Both talks take place at the Hy-Vee Club Room located at 1320 9th Avenue Southeast in Watertown. A free lunch will be provided.
