Alan Christensen , MD Surgery Dr. Christensen attended the University of South Dakota School of Medicine in Vermillion where he received his medical degree in 1997. Dr. Christensen completed his residency at Central Iowa Health Systems/Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Previously, Dr. Christensen attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City where he attained a Paramedical Sciences Degree. Dr. Christensen worked as a paramedic for Sioux Falls from 1986-1997. Dr. Christensen is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery.
