The Look Good… Feel Better program is a free program that teaches beauty techniques to women in active cancer treatment. The group is led by a trained, volunteer cosmetologist who teaches women how to cope with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetics and skin care products donated by the cosmetic industry. Women also will learn ways to disguise hair loss with wigs, scarves, and other accessories.

The program is offered at Prairie Lakes Cancer Center the second Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the Cancer Center at Prairie Lakes. For more information or to pre-register, call 605-882-6854. Multiple Myeloma Support Group
This is a cancer support group for people affected by multiple myeloma, a cancer of the plasma cells in bone marrow. The support group will give participants an opportunity to share their concerns with others having similar experiences and discuss the challenges that arise from a multiple myeloma diagnosis. I Can Cope

I Can Cope is an educational program for adults with cancer and their family members and friends. It provides information about cancer diagnosis and treatment and offers practical help in coping with some of the emotional issues resulting from a cancer diagnosis.
