Look Good... Feel Better
In an effort to help women undergoing active cancer treatment cope with appearance-related side effects, Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is a host site for the Look Good… Feel Better program.
The Look Good… Feel Better program is a free program that teaches beauty techniques to women in active cancer treatment. The group is led by a trained, volunteer cosmetologist who teaches women how to cope with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetics and skin care products donated by the cosmetic industry. Women also will learn ways to disguise hair loss with wigs, scarves, and other accessories.
The program is offered at Prairie Lakes Cancer Center the second Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the Cancer Center at Prairie Lakes. For more information or to pre-register, call 605-882-6854. The program is sponsored in partnership with the American Cancer Society; the National Cosmetology Association; and Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association Foundation.

The group meets the third Monday of each month from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Prairie Lakes Cancer Center. For more information or to pre-register, call 605-882-6854.
