Physicians specializing in medical and radiation oncology lead the health care team. Skilled healthcare professionals including a dosimetrist, radiation therapists, and certified oncology nurses assist in providing cancer care.

Dr. Homam Alkaied, medical oncologist and hematologist, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cancer and blood diseases. His approach to cancer care is all encompassing, treating the whole human being. He believes in collaborative and collegial teamwork to deliver the best quality of care possible to patients.

Dr. Bipin Amin specializes in hematology and medical oncology. He is dedicated to the comprehensive care and treatment of patients. This includes treatment of solid tumors, as well as malignant and non-malignant blood disorders. Dr. Amin is committed to participating in clinical trials and took part in over 75 trials prior to joining Prairie Lakes.

Dr. Jeffrey Brindle, radiation oncologist, provides compassionate cancer care to patients through the utilization of state-of-the-art radiation therapy technology. He works with patients to determine the right course of treatment. Radiation therapy may be used alone or in combination with surgery and chemotherapy.

Kristina Rieffenberger, Certified Nurse Practitioner, works together with Dr. Amin to provide comprehensive hematology and oncology services.
