Twelve Weeks to a Healthier You

This year keep your resolution going and change to a healthier lifestyle. Our Registered Dietitians will focus on boosting your overall health during a twelve week program, CORE4 TM.

 Whether it’s changing your eating habits, understanding your metabolism or tracking your progress, CORE4 TM is the multifaceted program that will enable you to control your weight forever. CORE4 TM encompasses nutrition education, physical activity and the role of behavioral therapy in weight reduction and weight management.

Nutrition education focuses on basic nutrition components, calorie composition, food portions, supplements, food preparation, dining out, food labels and shopping tips.   The physical activity module addresses the role of exercise and physical activity in weight reduction and weight management.  Lastly, the behavior modification modules focus on personal awareness, hunger and appetite and our relationship to food. 

Week 1: Introduction
Week 2: Individual Appointment with a Registered Dietitian
Week 3: Taking Control, Behavior Modification
Week 4: Portions
Week 5: Food Labels, Meal Planning and Dining Out
Week 6: Exercise
Week 7: Choosing Wisely Fat, Cholesterol and Triglycerides
Week 8: Choosing Wisely Carbohydrates and Fiber
Week 9: Choosing Wisely Protein and Water
Week 10: Choosing Wisely Vitamins and Minerals
Week 11: Stress, Sleep and Extreme Diets
Week 12: Moving On
